Francie McGlynn

Francie is a multi-media artist who lives in St. Catharines. She has shown her work at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, the Jackalope Gallery, Toronto; the TAG Gallery, St. Catharines; the Pelham Art Festival, and other group show in Southern Ontario. She received Honourable Mention in the 2024 Online International Spiritual Arts Awards, 3D category. She has an interest in pre-patriarchal spirituality and her work explores how our post-modern spirituality intersects with that of our Palaeolithic ancestors. Using found and scavenged objects she builds whimsical talismans and amulets - objects that people who lived 40 000 years ago would have understood as connections to the spirit world.
