What a Weekend It Was
Filled With Whimsy and Joy

Dear Friend of TOAF,

TOAF65: sealed and delivered with LOVE.

And what a gift it was, to all of us and to the City! It feels like a dream. We are overwhelmed by the joy and how it all unfolded. The site at Nathan Phillips Square holds the memories of all the moments, conversations, and connections that happened this weekend, and we hold them in our hearts.

We even had some of the best weather TOAF has seen in recent years: ideal temperatures for this time of year and a pleasant breeze.

To the artists who traveled to be with us, we wish you safe travels back home. To all the artists, we hope your packing up was lighter, with your works having found new homes.

And the celebration isn’t over yet: our TOAF65 exhibition, Don’t Look Back, curated by David Liss, runs at Koffler Arts until Sunday, July 19. There you can relive some memories and see the works in a whole new light. And keep the buzz alive for the artists by continuing to collect works on TOAF.ca.

We have loads of great pictures, stories, and highlights to share with you. But for now, a big heartfelt thank you to all of you for our grand celebratory gathering.

Before we close, we want to acknowledge the tragic events at Salsa on St. Clair this weekend. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families, to everyone who was there, and to the festival organizers and community. We share in the city’s grief.

With full hearts,

anahita & TOAF Team
