Victoria is an emerging queer Canadian glass artist with a focus on sculptural work. She is currently an Artist in Residence of Harbourfront Center, Her journey in began with Sheridan College’s Honorary Bachelors of Craft and Design, she has had the incredible opportunity to study sculptural glassblowing with renowned artists Ross Richmond at the Corning Museum of Glass in 2018 and Pearl Dick at Pilchuck Glass School in 2023.

Victoria creates glass sculptures of the human form to address the disconnection between the body and mind, created by societal assumptions about the female body. By exploring this complex issue, she aims to make the audience feel uncomfortable and give insight into the struggles others face with accepting their bodies and create empathetic connections. Subverting audience expectations through material qualities, she aims to create a thought-provoking experience that sparks contemplation.

She has exhibited work with Harbourfront curated by director Melanie Egan in a 2 person show known as Body Language. She also has exhibited work in Fusion: Ontario’s Clay and Glass Association in their Break through PLUS exhibition. She takes great pleasure in establishing personal connections with the vibrant community of crafters throughout the Greater Toronto Area. One way she achieves this is by actively participating and showcasing her talent at various craft markets. By engaging directly with fellow artisans and customers, she fosters a sense of camaraderie that enriches the craft experience for all involved.
