Homage to Chagall is part of my Kaleidoscope series. This painting shows the details of abstracted butterfly parts, wings sections and false eyes. It has angled lines and a warm colour scheme. The overlapping and transparency loosely reminded me of a Chagall painting "I and the Village", hence the title.
