Description

I've been deeply influenced by Tarot and it's symbolism all of my adult life. Psychologist Carl Jung studied and wrote about Tarot, and this drawing is inspired by his ideas about the Strength card. One of his many ideas about the card that resonated for me has to do with inner strength and perseverance: the card is a quiet emblem of soul deep courage, where we learn to live with the wild parts of ourselves. It's about forming a relationship with our emotions and instincts.
