Oil painting of a fall laneway with yellow, pink and red leaves scattered like confetti across pavement, fences and sky.

The leaves had got out, and onto everything

Artist

Description
A little later in fall, the leaves get out and onto everything. The pavement, the sky, falling from above. This painting is from that moment — yellows, pinks, greens, and reds scattered like confetti through the whole composition, with a brilliantly coloured tree overhanging a steel-blue garage door at the bend in the lane. A companion to 'A wall of leaves and a puddle of sky'. From my Toronto, Down the Rabbit Hole series.
