The courts were lit up, but it was only April

Description
There's a particular moment in early spring in Toronto when the outdoor tennis courts already have their lights turned on before the season has really started. You can be walking past the park at night and find them glowing in the distance, fenced and empty, waiting for the weather to catch up. This painting is of one of those nights — the courts lit up across a dark field of grass, black tree branches overhanging, a deep blue sky above. From my Toronto, Down the Rabbit Hole series.
