Description

In Bantu culture, a tree symbolizes life and Mother Nature, a sacred entity around which people gather to resolve their conflicts and strengthen bonds within the community. The artwork depicts this gathering of elders—represented by the nude figures—and the younger generation—represented by the clothed figures—where each person brings their own story and experiences to the tree in order to renew it for a new cycle.
