Description

Fortune is a hanging installation composed of one hundred double-sided sheets suspended from the ceiling. Each sheet bears the repeated word fortune on one side, while the reverse reveals phrases translated into different languages by friends and collaborators. Drawn from personal memories, bureaucratic notices, hazard warnings, and everyday encounters, the work reflects on translation, misrecognition, and the ways identity is continuously handled, interpreted, and repaired.
