The hooded, opaque forms of the Gorgons echo the visual weight of racialized bodies, while their shadowy presence reflects contemporary political and economic tensions. By stripping away color, I focus on the structural, skeletal nature of the figures, using myth to bring internal emotional and political tensions to the surface.
