Shaped by JOY

Curated by Monika Meda and Tomas Vitmajer, owners of Coffee by JOY
Coffee by JOY, a new café in Toronto’s West end, fuses Japanese-Czech designs and flavours to create a uniquely vibrant, creativity-infused space. Filled with stunning handmade and upcycled objects, the space tells the owner’s stories of care, creativity, and immense craftsmanship.
This collection of artworks was selected by owners Monika Meda and Tomas Vitmajer, showcasing their keen eye for design and their journey as new business owners in Toronto. Each piece reflects their process, built through the steady rhythm of small actions: finding a space, shaping it, and filling it with joy.
