Toronto Potters
Toronto Potters Association, established in 1979 as an unincorporated non-profit, volunteer-run association, is committed to the organization and sponsorship of ceramics-related activities to inspire members’ artistic growth, offer exhibition and sales opportunities to members, provide a welcoming environment for newcomers and networking with other arts groups. Toronto Potters Studio at Youngplace opened in 2018 as a working studio for Resident Members and offers community ceramics classes to over 200 students annually. The 22nd Toronto Potters Biennial Exhibition was hosted by the Gardiner Museum Oct-Dec 2023. In-person sales in 2023 were pop-ups. A quarterly e-newsletter, torontopotters.com and social media channels communicate the association's activities to the public and to the wide GTA membership. Toronto Potters is proud to present new members Jamie Bennett, Shayne Berlin and Mona Patel participating in TOAF 2024, alongside returning members Tanya Atkinson, Barbara Banfield, Hana Balaban-Pommier, Susan Card, Silvana Michetti, Lisa Robbins, Rhonda Uppington, Natalie Waddell and Peidi Wang.
