In our day to day lives, we are constantly passing through meeting points between the natural and manufactured worlds. These sites of great tension, where materials decay and disrupt one another, have always provoked a deep curiosity in me. They are some of the most intimate moments in our physical scenery, inherently beautiful and rich with meaning.

My art is a practice in noticing and celebrating this fragile beauty. I use texture — pieces of fabrics sewn together, plaster, paints and found objects — to give shape to this tension. Through material experiments, I aim to get closer to the physical, felt reality of our shared places.

My work can be found in private and corporate collections across North America.
