Description

The word cordyceps originally means a parasitic fungus that chiefly infects insects, replacing the host tissue with mycelium and producing prominent elongated fruiting bodies. It often affects the behavior of the host insect, causing it to move to a location favorable for the release of fungal spores. Each piece ranges about $25-50, a glass dome or 30x30cm shadowbox is provided with a collection of five or more pieces. Larger framed version or installation version available per request.
