At first glance, Robert appears to sit normally on a bench, holding a frame. A closer look reveals a pose that defies bodily logic. “Turn around” becomes both a literal and metaphorical command, asking whether we can ever truly face ourselves. The frame suggests identity as constructed, while the impossible posture evokes the contortions involved in self-understanding. Here, the self becomes a paradox: always present, yet forever beyond its own gaze.
