In 2019, Robert and I visited his hometown, Elliston, where his family settled in the mid-19th century. In this photo, Robert was watching the glorious sunrise at Elliston. His ancestors must have seen the same vista. Robert's home is no longer located in Elliston, but he still felt connected to this place where his home used to be. Bathed in the golden sunshine, we knew a new day had come.
