- In Between (Diptych), 2025 merges two different landscapes from two different continents: the Essequibo river in Guyana and Go Home Lake in Georgian Bay, Ontario. These abstracted landscapes of atypical colours were created with traditional western painting tools (acrylic paint and charcoal sticks) and cross-disciplinary materials (turmeric spice,chalk) to enmesh the artist's Indo-Guyanese and Canadian heritages and to manifest thematic elements of identity, ancestral memory and temporality.
