- Description
- mînohtâw (amend) portrays beadwork as a form of healing, self-expression, and reconnection with my Indigenous identity. For many Indigenous peoples, beadwork is both wearable art and a practice that strengthens community, culture, and belonging. It is an expression of love and a reflection of the person who wears it. By combining traditional beadwork with contemporary practices, I explore new ways of viewing this art while continuing my own healing journey, one bead at a time.
