This playful circular composition is of two fancily dressed birds I imagined enjoying a special tea with lemon cake . The white linen ground is embroidered freely with thread by hand and using a basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool; building up the textures, patterns and details in this original embroidery.The artwork measures 4.5”x 4.5” and is framed within a 8”x 8” contemporary white wood frame, ready to hang.
