Description

This work is a stitched drawing made from sketches I did while visiting the historic centre of Amsterdam, with its beautiful tree lined canals and characterful houses, this view is a section of Princengracht. White linen and handmade paper layers are embroidered freely with blue threads using a basic domestic sewing machine as my drawing tool. The 8”x 10”embroidery is mounted onto an acid free museum quality mat and framed within a contemporary white wood 12”x 14” frame, ready to hang.
