Description

I collected together all the jugs in our home to draw in my studio. Each piece holds a memory, a story of my travels near and far, of the people and places cherished. This composition celebrates these pieces in a still life that has grown into its own fanciful narrative with imagined fanciful birds nesting amongst them. Bright and metallic threads are embroidered onto white linen using my basic domestic sewing machine as a drawing tool. I stitch freely over the surface.
