Inspired by Toronto’s former Gem Bar & Grill, a longtime local bar I frequented, this painting reflects the warmth and familiarity of a neighbourhood gathering place now gone.

Original oil painting on 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas. The image extends around the sides of the canvas, allowing the work to be displayed without framing. Finished with a protective varnish, wired, and ready to hang.
