With this body of work Rachael explores the expressive qualities of colour, the interaction of objects and surface, and interconnection. Her work is an intersection of the disciplines of art, craft, and design, and draws inspiration from everyday functional objects, decorative arts, and architecture.

Working intuitively and spontaneously, she approaches each piece of artwork as an experiment and a puzzle to solve, allowing for the process to determine the outcome.
