Description

Mitosis depicts the creation of a digital clone, the online persona that takes the place of the original self. Reflecting on Baudrillardian simulacra, the theoretical 'digital doubling' fractures one into two. The self does not split cleanly; it replicates with error, with drift, with the quiet distortion of each iteration. What is lost between the two is not visible. What remains of the original is only the ghost of a signal, flickering beneath a version that has already taken its place.
