Description

Monrovia is the capital of Liberia, nearly 15,000 kilometres from where this ship was seen in Vancouver Harbour. It carries that distance in its name. The yellow superstructure rises like a patch of sun against the cool blues around it, the deep burgundy hull grounding it in something heavier. Behind it, the mountains are recognizably ours, the water moving without going anywhere. Part of the Homeward series. 24" × 24" HD metal print, ready to hang.
