Description

Eadem taken from Eadem materia, of the same material, was carved from a single 1800 pound piece of Ontario black marble. The title of this work is reflected in the sculpture's two integral elements, a base and a ribbon. The ribbon seamlessly emerges from the base like a continuous line, looping twice around itself before returning to the base. Eadem exemplifies my interest in the relationship between form and material. Eadem is an original design. Ask me about its exhibition history!
