George Hall
George Hall is a Canadian stone sculptor. He received this years Best of 3D works award for outstanding work in sculpture. His studio is located just outside of Toronto in Bowmanville, Ontario.
After working with stone for nearly a decade, George began sculpting in January of 2023. His immediate love of stone carving led him to quickly assemble a mobile studio. Working out the back of his car, George taught himself how to turn boulders into beautiful sculptures. Now, George enjoys the luxuries of a permanent studio including shelter from the rain!
With every sculpture, George's aim is to provide a glimpse into his mind and imagination. Each of George’s sculptures begin as a vision. After he has a clear vision, he uses a variety of power tools and hand tools to remove the superfluous material.
