'l'innocente' means 'the innocent one' in Italian - a nod to Commedia Dell'Arte masks. It is paper mâché and canvas with buttons, wool and twigs added, finished with torn newsprint and glaze. The interior is an acorn Mandala glued to glazed fabric. The mask is mounted on an 18" x 18" painted and framed birchwood panel. it is meant to be used in a ritual even though the ritual doesn't exist.
