Description

The neat lawn is a standard feature of the places that aren’t quite urban or rural, and there is almost a ritual involved in the maintenance. Mow the lawn once a week. Keep it clean. Water the grass. Water the driveway if it’s concrete. But what I remember is that most activity takes place either indoors or in the backyard. The front is a buffer zone. A place of stillness for most of the day.
