Description

This view was captured by camera from the southeast section of the Distillery District during a warm spell in February. The snow was added in the studio. It was fun trying to capture the colours of the signage and pylons using only ultramarine blue and burnt sienna watercolour paint. Cherry Street is being relocated to the west to accommodate all of the work being done in the Port Lands but plans are being made to save the tower, which dates to the early 1930's.
