This custom portrait is created from a childhood photograph. I use small pieces of textile to create the portrait, blending memory and imagination.
All edges are carefully glued and free-motion stitched to create depth and texture. The piece is stretched over a canvas, transforming a personal memory into a unique textile artwork.
