A sleeping man behind the glass window of a butcher shop, beside hanging animal carcasses, while children look in from outside.

Insomnia #3: Veitrine

Artist
Bahram Rameh
Description
A body lies asleep behind the butcher’s glass, aligned with hanging carcasses. The image is captured without staging or artificial light — just a tired body surrendering to stillness in a space where sleep does not belong.
The insomnia here is not about staying awake, but about sleeping in the wrong place.
Children look in from outside. No one says a word.
The body, in silence, is surviving something.
