Description

Created during Catherine's first Toronto Island artists' residency. Two weeks painting full time in relative isolation (who knew this would be training for isolation in 2020). On a rainy day, she took in her surroundings. The area where people line up for ferries is surrounded by a grid fence. This work is her observations of the colours & geometry of the fence along with the yellow green planter on the pathway, without ignoring the rain.
