Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor and online art fair

TOAF will take place July 12 – 14, 2024.

The Online Art Fair is Open – Day 1 of TOAF

Today, you can start collecting works from the participating artists of TOAF62. The Online Art Fair is now Open!

As you know by now, 60+ artists are joining us Exclusively Online. Connect with them through email, social media, or arrange a virtual call if an artwork catches your eye and you want to know more about it before making a commitment. They are ready to hear from you!

To inspire you on your collecting journey, our first digital program is a captivating interview with exceptionally thoughtful and discerning art collectors Anjli Patel and Parambir Keila in conversation with curator Josh Heuman. You’ll learn all you need to know about developing a collection as they share their process of collecting contemporary artwork, and their emphasis on cultivating lasting relationships with artists, including their approach to collecting at Art Fairs such as TOAF. This is a gem of a conversation.

Tonight on Instagram, artist Efemena Ogboru takes us on an inspiring tour through her studio in Winnipeg. Tune in tomorrow to a fun kick-off with the exuberant Tiffany Pratt on Instagram Live, where she will share her passion in bringing art into every nook and cranny of a space to make it burst with energy and imagination. Explore Tiffany’s bright Curated Collection of the day, Conduits of Creativity, and Humza A. Mian’s thought-provoking reflections in Emerging from Grief

Remembering Hakan Kamasik

We are deeply saddened about the passing of artist Hakan Kamasik. Hakan was a modern expressionist artist who was born in Turkey in 1992. He came to Toronto in 2021 and continued his art professionally. Hakan planned to showcase his work at the Fair in Nathan Phillips Square. Together with his family, we will be honouring his work and efforts during TOAF62. You can collect his work as part of the online Fair. He will be dearly missed.

What’s On Today

Collecting art is a personal endeavour involving many personal preferences and decisions. What subjects, styles and media are appealing? How do I display the artwork? In this candid conversation, Heuman probes the minds of ‘collector couple’ Patel and Keila about what motivates them in pursuit of art for their home, learn about specific artworks, and asks about the growth and evolution of their collection.
