I’m a Toronto-based silkscreen printmaker. My work is inspired by photographs I’ve taken of places I’ve lived and travelled to. My process is all about the layers: I create cityscapes and landscapes built through dozens, sometimes up to 50, transparent layers to create depth, light, and texture.
I work out of Open Studio and also teach silkscreen through the Toronto District School Board’s Learn4Life program at Central Technical School. I have a BFA from Queen’s University.
My work is held in collections including EY, TD Bank, and the City of Toronto. I am represented by ArtMatch.ca, and my prints can be found on my website at www.zoecraig.com.
