Reissa Lee
Reissa Lee is a loose oil painter. Who held a lot of value in holidays, birthdays and even the moment after a big test. Meaning all that time in between grew dull. She found daily painting (making a painting daily) as a way to capture the beauty on a daily basis.
Each painting is a simplification of what she found special that day. Whether that is a plein air painting, alla prima of a puppy she saw or a still life of her lunch. She dates her days with these small special moments rather than large achievements (as those are rare for her and for many.)
She celebrates the small moments and expresses gratitude in the form of a painting. Gratitude is to recognize, to appreciate. Ultimately, Reissa shares these daily paintings as her small achievements, expressing gratitude for the “time in between”
