Raghuvamsh Chavali is an internationally recognized photographer and visual artist based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada whose work explores the relationship between urban environments and wildlife behavior. He is best known for his long-term project Wings Over Concrete, which examines patterns of motion, repetition, and coexistence within city ecosystems.

Central to his practice is Interlacing Frames, a photographic methodology he developed to reconstruct sequential movement into a single composited visual system. By compressing time into a unified frame, this approach reveals collective motion patterns that are not perceptible through conventional photography, offering a new framework for interpreting urban wildlife behavior.

His work has received international recognition through juried competitions and exhibitions, and has been featured in major publications including The Guardian, Smithsonian Magazine, Canadian Geographic, BBC Sky at Night, Space.com, PetaPixel, and National Post. His project has earned top distinctions at the 35AWARDS, ND Awards, New York Photography Awards, Head On Festival, and Trieste Photo Days.

In addition to his artistic practice, Chavali contributes to the field through published writing on photographic techniques and visual storytelling, and serves as an ambassador for 1x.com, a globally curated photography platform. He has also patented biometric watermarking system designed to protect digital media ownership in the age of AI.

At TOAF 2026, he presents a curated selection from Wings Over Concrete, translating his exploration of motion and coexistence into a public-facing exhibition that reflects the evolving relationship between natural behavior and urban space.
