Rachel Sardella
Rachel Sardella is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice explores fleeting perceptual moments and memory as layered, shifting, and imperfect. Working across hand-carved wooden sculpture and atmospheric paintings on transparent silk, she creates immersive works that reflect the slow rhythms of the natural world—growth, erosion, and repetition—and how moments leave quiet traces over time.
Her sculptural work emerges through an intensive process of carving and assembly, while her paintings dissolve landscape into gentle layers of colour and light, inviting reflection on perception as something felt, fragmented, and continually evolving.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queen’s University and is a graduate of Humber College’s Advertising and Graphic Design program. She has worked in art and design institutions for over eight years and currently works as a Designer at Warner Music Canada.
