Patricia Lima
At her roots an illustrator, Patricia Lima found a new way to explore her creativity in pottery. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she has been living and creating in Toronto since 2007.
Patricia creates whimsical pieces inspired by folk art from all over the world and native South American ceramics, incorporating various techniques from her illustration background involving paper cutting to create intricate designs.
Working mostly with reclaimed clay and unglazed surfaces, she enjoys letting the natural colour and texture of the clay to have the spotlight.
