Nadia Tasci
Nadia Tasci is an established glass artist with a full time studio practice; which includes glass flame-working jewellery and sculpture.
Her creative approach begins with a tremendous devotion to her material. Nadia always aim to push traditional glass making boundaries.
She use unique methods of design to explore the visual dialogue between colour, form and pattern, creating dynamic and engaging contemporary jewellery and sculpture. Over the course of her career, Nadia’s work has been published internationally and has received recognition for high quality and detailed craftsmanship. She is a recipient of several OAC exhibition assistance grants, and as received a Craft Ontario award to support her creative development. Nadia’s glass work has been exhibited across Canada, USA, UK, Japan, most notably the Corning Museum of Glass and the Pittsburgh Glass Centre.
Nadia studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design University's Drawing and Painting program and Sheridan College's Craft and Design (Glass) program.
She has also participated in several international creative development workshops.
Nadia Tasci currently work full time in her studio in Toronto, Canada.
