After a bachelor in Graphic design and more then twenty years working in Graphic and broadcast design, I graduated from Centre de Céramique Bonsecours de Montréal in 2013. Since then, I have participated in many exhibits, fairs, and retail shows in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta . My pieces are available accross Canada and the United States. Also, some are part of the permanent collection at The Art Gallery of Burlington in Ontario. They where exhibited summer 2018 in the Dialogue exhibit in the Lee-Chin Family Gallery. I take inspiration for my ceramics from nature, seeds, flowers, pearls and shells. I use a wheel, various hand building techniques and slip casting to make porcelain pieces that are as ornamental as functional. I play with the illusion of fragility by thinning the lip of a bowl leaving the rest of the piece a little fuller for strength. I merge content and function by making visual links with nature.
