Harry Kooy
-
Harry Kooy has been making and exhibiting sculptures in the Kitchener-Waterloo area since 2012. Early in 2022, Harry retired from his career as an auto mechanic so that he could concentrate on his creative efforts. Over time, his work has diverged into making wire sculptures and copper machines. Harry uses very simple tools to work with steel, copper, brass, stone and wood. Harry’s art has been featured in many local art events and group exhibits. His work has been part of shows at the Homer Watson House and Gallery , the Uptown Gallery in Waterloo and The Art District Gallery.
