Living her adult life in Toronto, Cherie Daly's artistic journey took a transformative turn in 2016 when following a career in public policy and a time spent raising a family, she shifted to a vibrant pursuit of art. Currently dividing her creative time between a collaborative studio on Sunrise Avenue in Toronto and the serene surroundings of Muskoka, Cherie's commitment to her work has been unwavering.

After enrolling in Central Tech’s Adult Art Program, she explored various mediums, but it was her passion for abstract painting that led her to individual teachers like Suzanne Metz. Since 2017, Cherie has showcased her work in juried shows, group exhibitions, and online platforms such as Saatchi Gallery and The Other Art Fair. Her pieces have not only garnered recognition from the Oshawa Art Association and the Federation of Canadian Artists, Toronto Chapter but have also been displayed at venues like the Federation Gallery in Vancouver and the ADC Fine Art show Art Comes Alive in Cincinnati.

Cherie's artistic evolution extends beyond the canvas. It has been a source of strength and expression during challenging times, particularly while supporting a family member facing mental illness. Her bold, funky, and youthful creations reflect not only her artistic prowess but also the resilient spirit that underlines her artistic journey.
