Carolyn Laidley Arn
I am a Canadian abstract intuitive urban artist with a backyard studio in Toronto. As a retired interior designer with a career in commercial real estate, I initially began to paint to relieve stress, and to release and activate the creativity that was buried for over 20 years. Now I am a regular participant in 8-12 juried art shows annually, both in the Greater Toronto and beyond.
My work makes people smile, it evokes a calm and peaceful feeling and comfort. It is playful, fun and happy and a curation between chaos and calm. The fun I have making the work shines through and can be felt by the viewer as their eyes dance across the artwork.
I look forward to meeting you at the fair and you can find me in booth B-172 by the ramp. If you fall in love with a piece either before or at the fair and would like to see on your walls, send me a photo + dimensions and I can superimpose OR, I would be more than happy to drop by your home with ‘that’ piece or a selection.
