Alexandra Wozniak
Alexandra Wozniak is a Montreal based artist who creates realistic works in soft pastel and oil, sometimes infused with a dreamlike quality. She draws inspiration from two artistic movements, Impressionism and Romanticism, depending on the subjects she wishes to explore. Her work highlights the Canadian and French countryside she deeply cherishes, through subjects such as animal portraits, landscapes, and floral compositions.
A signature member of the PSEC since 2018, she actively contributes to promoting the medium to a wider audience. She joined the multidisciplinary painters’ association Rose-Art in 2024, and in 2026, she began her first term as artistic director.
Recipient of the first prize “Scene of Life” for her piece Fishing on the Oasis at the “Pastellists 24e” exhibition, she continues to refine both her technique and artistic voice.
