At a base level, I love creating art that rewards close looking and inspection. I work in acrylic paint as a medium, exploring different application styles and textures as I paint from photographic reference. I recently graduated from a Joint Program between Sheridan College and The University of Toronto, and am an independent emerging artist based in Burlington who was in the Toronto Artist Project 2026. My feature series of works on display is entitled Electroliths; a collection of miniature magnetic scenes of power lines dotting the suburban and exurban landscapes across the GTA. I have a fascination for power lines, and hope to draw attention to their weirdness and artfulness. I show this fascination through a surgical precision: each powerline is first shaped using thin strips of tape sometimes less than a mm in width, then peeled off at the end to reveal the background coming into the foreground. You can reach me via email and Instagram.
