Alessandra Pompei
Alessandra Pompei is a jewellery designer and goldsmith based in Toronto. Originally from Rome, Alessandra received her education in jewelry design from OCADU. Upon completion in 2020, she has since established her namesake brand, Pompei Fine Jewelry. Pompei’s work reflects a tension between the traditions of craftsmanship steeped in her Italian heritage with a contemporary design perspective obtained through her experiences in Toronto. Specializing in gem setting, Alessandra combines traditional setting techniques with found objects resulting in striking, contemporary designs. Her work seeks to challenge conventions of luxury, craft, and ultimately fine jewellery.
Operating out of the co-op jewellery studio Made You Look, Pompei Fine Jewelry offers bespoke and repair services in addition to seasonal collections. as well as a growing local client base, she is committed to crafting thoughtful, one-of-a-kind heirlooms.
