Karen Novak
Karen Novak born in Edmonton, lived in Vancouver, then landed in Yellowknife while in a touring band. An artist in every sense of the word, this professional performer also creates a little magic on canvas.
Prior artistic success was reignited in 2015 when acrylic and oil paint were explored. Allowing herself creative leeway to develop her own style and experiment freely, lead to glow-in-the-dark paint artwork.
“People responded to my northern light paintings and hidden scenes in my art”.
In 2016, the Great Northern Art Festival in Inuvik awarded her the Peoples Choice Award. Attending art shows as she can, Karen keeps performing music full time.
A member of CARFAC , NWT Arts,also a member of the BAK art association in Hungary.
Always on a learning journey and expanding on her world wide clientele with new online art exhibits and in person shows in Canada and Europe.
