Description

This work explores issues of identity and belonging. It incorporates elements of the artist's cultural heritage in the form of a discarded piece of traditional handwoven textile in an attempt to convey the fragmented nature of diasporic living. The cut-out rug also stands as metaphor for geographical borders.
