Description

This sculpture of a polar bear is hand-built in translucent porcelaneous clay, hollow, bisque fired first, followed by a second firing to achieve a marble-like effect. The glass floe is created by the artist using the tack fusing technique.
The pictures are taken to reflect the bear sculpture as realistically as possible. As in all hand-made artwork, the finish could have some imperfections and flaws which add to the charm and uniqueness of the piece.
